FAQ
Who: Cubs, Scouters
Where: Rockyford, Alberta.
When: June 5 to 7, 2026.
Registration: Registration opens April 22,2026. Registrations will close on May 15 2026 or as soon as the camp is full, whichever comes first. Please note that registration is done by groups only, individual Cubs cannot attend on their own.
Cost: $10 per attendee. All attendees must be registered members of Scouts Canada – no exceptions.
Theme: The Future of Scouting
Activities: Each group is responsible to prepare a 30-min activity. The cubs will rotate through the activities on the Saturday. Group's should try to align activities with the theme. If you have more than 16 Cubs registered, prepare 2 activities. No rockets, no ziplines, no weapons, no open flames.
Gateways: Each group should have an entrance gateway to their designated camp that is related to the theme (The Future of Scouting).
Costumes: Group's will parade through camp and town. No weapons will be allowed.
Fires: Propane and/or gas stoves are permitted for cooking. No open fires of any sort (including no propane firepits).
Will there be prizes at this camp? There will be three prize categories: Best Gateway, Best Costumes, Best Activity. Each category will have a First, Second and Third place. There will be a best of Camp prize as well. The prizes will be judged by the Cubs and Scouters. In the spirit of the Cuborama event please have the Cubs create and construct their gateways and costumes to the best of their abilities. This is not a competition to see who has the most talented parents.
