About
Cuborama is a Scouts Canada and Chinook Council event for cub age youth held near Calgary, Alberta Canada. It is a weekend camping event event held around the beginning of June with over 400 youth and adults celebrating a theme for the weekend. The event this year (2025) will be held in the town of Rockyford, AB on their rodeo grounds from June 6-8, 2025.
For Cuborama, each cub group prepares a 30-min activity (packs with more than 16 Cubs will need to prepare and run 2 activities), builds a gateway to their camp, and creates costumes for their cubs to wear during the parade. The cubs will rotate through the activities on Saturday. Entrances and costumes will be judged and prizes will be awarded.
This year's theme is: the Mesozoic Era: When Dinosaurs Roamed
What is the Mesozoic Era?
